Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2022 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2022 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup in Olds, Alberta;

Bottcher finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated Korey Dropkin (Chaska, MN) 5-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Soo-Hyuk Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Bottcher lost 6-4 to Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) where Bottcher responded with a 7-6 win over Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB). Bottcher won 8-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
