To advance to the championship game, Hilker won 6-3 over Marla Sherrer (Lacombe, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Alberta Curling Series: Avonair in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
Hilker finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hilker defeated Melissa Pierce (Edmonton, AB) 7-5, then won 6-3 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton , AB) and 9-2 against Cathy Borys (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Alberta Curling Series: Avonair Championship title, Hilker earned 22.435 world rankings points along with the $2,624CDN first prize cheque, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 40.004 total points. Hilker ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.435 points earned so far this season.
