Violette won 8-6 against Matt Hamilton (Madison, WI). Violette went on to lose 5-4 against Matt Birklid (Seattle, WA). Violette lost 7-4 to Stopera where Violette responded with a 5-3 win over Ben Richardson (Seattle, WA). Violette won 8-2 against Jon Harstad (Duluth, MN), then won 4-3 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Violette ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
