Nando Salviulo (Castlegar, BC) finished 1-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Salviulo lost 7-4 to Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC), then responded with a 7-4 win over Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC). Salviulo went on to lose 7-3 against Tyler Tardi (Surrey, BC). Salviulo lost 8-2 to Rob Dennis (Delta, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
