Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) run at the 2020 BC Men's Provincial Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-4 loss to Tyler Tardi (Surrey, BC). of the 2020 BC Men's Provincial Championship in Cranbrook, British Columbia;
Longworth finished 5-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Longworth lost 4-3 to Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC), then responded with a 9-1 win over Aaron Thompson (Vancouver, BC). Longworth won 9-5 against Neil Dangerfield ( Victoria, BC), then won 7-4 against Brad Wood (Penticton, BC) and 9-5 against Joanisse. Longworth won 8-3 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
Longworth earned 10.519 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Men's Provincial Championship, moving up 96 spots the World Ranking Standings into 168th place overall with 17.310 total points. Longworth ranks 168th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.115 points earned so far this season.
