Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) won 6-4 over Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the Final of the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, held December 6 - 8, 2019 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 9-6 over Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 6-4 over New Brunswick's Sarah Mallais in the quarterfinals.
 
Gim finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Veronica Smith (Charlottetown, PEI) 8-1, then won 8-1 against New Brunswick's Sarah Mallais and 9-2 against New Brunswick's Justine Comeau. Gim won 8-7 against Ma Yun Yan (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic Championship title, Gim earned 19.344 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. Gim move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 10.798 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 242.205 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Gim ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 176.709 points earned so far this season.
