Heldin/Lindstroem finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heldin/Lindstroem defeated Switzerland's Lea Huppi/Jonas Weiss 8-3, then won 7-4 against Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres/Gyorgy Nagy.
