Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) won 5-4 over Megan Balsdon (Woodstock, ON) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 19 - 22, 2019 at the K-W Granite Club in Waterloo, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 7-4 over Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) in the semifinals of the 2019 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over Kira Brunton (Sudbury, NONT) in the quarterfinals.
 
Gim finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Susan Froud (Stroud, ON) 5-4, then won 6-3 against Jacqueline Harrison (Dundas, ON) and 7-2 against Murphy. Gim won 8-0 against Mackenzie Kiemele (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, Gim earned 37.672 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. Gim move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 17.579 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 21st overall with 208.507 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Gim ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.515 points earned so far this season.
