Stuart Thompson (Dartmouth, NS) won 6-4 over Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Nova Scotia Deloitte Tankard, held January 21 - 27, 2019 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Thompson won 7-4 over Chad Stevens (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2019 Nova Scotia Deloitte Tankard in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia;

Thompson finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thompson defeated Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) 8-2, then won 7-5 against Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) and 9-6 against Kevin Ouellette (Halifax, NS). Thompson went on to lose 8-5 against Stevens. Thompson responded with a 9-4 win over Doug MacKenzie (Halifax, NS). Thompson won 8-7 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS). Thompson went on to lose 8-4 against Murphy in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Nova Scotia Deloitte Tankard Championship title, Thompson earned 12.938 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Thompson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thompson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
