To advance to the championship game, Perret/Rios won 9-2 over Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 WCT Tallinn Mixed Doubles International in Tallinn, Estonia; and won 6-4 over Zuzana Paulova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) in the quarterfinals.
 
Perret/Rios finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios defeated Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE) 8-6, then won 9-5 against Anastasia Moskaleva/Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) and 9-2 against Iluta Linde/Arnis Veidemanis (Riga, LAT). Perret/Rios won 11-3 against Sarah Cai Huijie/Lionel Loh Caihao (Singapore, SG). Perret/Rios went on to lose 8-4 against Eszter Juhasz/Markku Uusipaavalniemi (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
