Perret/Rios finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios defeated Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE) 8-6, then won 9-5 against Anastasia Moskaleva/Alexander Eremin (Moscow, RUS) and 9-2 against Iluta Linde/Arnis Veidemanis (Riga, LAT). Perret/Rios won 11-3 against Sarah Cai Huijie/Lionel Loh Caihao (Singapore, SG). Perret/Rios went on to lose 8-4 against Eszter Juhasz/Markku Uusipaavalniemi (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WCT Tallinn Mixed Doubles International Championship title, Perret/Rios earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $914CDN first prize cheque.
