Murphy finished 2-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Murphy defeated Lindsay Kastrau (Ottawa, ON) 5-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Jacqueline Harrison (Toronto, ON). Murphy responded with a 6-4 win over Danielle Inglis (Etobicoke, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Murphy take home 25.171 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 88.624 total points. Murphy ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.268 points earned so far this season.
