To advance to the championship game, Koe won 6-5 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2019 Humpty's Champions Cup in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and won 6-3 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Humpty's Champions Cup in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
Koe finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK) 9-5, then won 8-3 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) and 7-2 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Koe went on to lose 7-5 against Gushue in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Humpty's Champions Cup, Koe take home 57.224 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.1300000000001 after improving upon their best so far this season.
