Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) qualified for the 2019 Humpty's Champions Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). of the 2019 Humpty's Champions Cup in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;

Gushue finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK) 6-0, then won 7-5 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Gushue went on to lose 7-6 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Gushue responded with a 7-5 win over Koe in their final qualifying round match.

Gushue earned 31.213 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Humpty's Champions Cup, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.202 after improving upon their best so far this season. Gushue ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 336.934 points earned so far this season.
