Brunton finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brunton defeated Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) 5-4, then went on to lose 12-4 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). Brunton responded with a 8-3 win over Erica Hopson (Ottawa, ON). Brunton won 7-4 against Ashley Howard (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
