Jennifer Armstrong (Fredericton, NB) qualified for the 2017 StuSells Toronto Tankard playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Ontario's Julie Tippin.

Armstrong finished 2-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Armstrong defeated Ontario's Sherry Middaugh 6-5, then went on to lose 7-1 against Ontario's Hollie Duncan. Armstrong responded with a 5-4 win over Jestyn Murphy (Missisauga, ON). Armstrong went on to lose 7-6 against Prince Edward Island's Robyn MacPhee in their final qualifying round match.

Armstrong earned 15.269 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the StuSells Toronto Tankard. For week 9 of the event schedule, Armstrong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
