Hasselborg finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB) 6-3, then won 8-2 against Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) and 10-1 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Hasselborg won 7-3 against Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
