Edin finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin lost 7-6 to John Shuster (Duluth, USA), then responded with a 7-4 win over John Morris (Vernon, BC). Edin went on to lose 8-4 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Edin responded with a 6-5 win over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Edin won 8-7 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Meridian Canadian Open, Edin take home 65.000 world rankings points along with the $18,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 40.122 after improving upon their best so far this season. Edin ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 412.571 points earned so far this season.
