Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2016 Canad Inns Women's Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE).

Jones finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Melanie Barbezat (Biel, SUI) 8-4, then won 5-0 against Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK). Jones went on to lose 6-3 against Hasselborg. Jones lost 8-0 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) where Jones responded with a 6-5 win over Barbezat. Jones won 8-4 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT), then won 7-4 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Jones earned 32.021 world rankings points for their Top 6 finish in the Canad Inns Women's Classic, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 569.875 total points. Jones ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 143.939 points earned so far this season.
