To advance to the championship game, Krell won 6-2 over Jialiang Zang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2014 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 7-1 over Pascal Michaud (Ajax, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario;
Krell finished 3-2 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Krell defeated Ontario's Travis Belchior 5-2, then went on to lose 4-3 against McDonald. Krell responded with a 9-2 win over Doug Brewer (Cornwall, ON). Krell went on to lose 8-5 against Brent Gray (Toronto, ON). Krell responded with a 6-4 win over Jake Walker (Brampton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Krell take home 2.625 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN prize, moving up 30 spots the World Ranking Standings into 133rd place overall with 5.725 total points. Krell ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.625 points earned so far this season.
