To advance to the championship game, Koe won 6-3 over Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) in the semifinals of the 2014 Canad Inns Men's Classic in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-2 over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Canad Inns Men's Classic in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Koe finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB) 7-3, then won 7-1 against Jared Kolomaya (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-3 against Howard. Koe won 5-3 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Canad Inns Men's Classic, Koe take home 25.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 198.375 total points.
