Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-0 over Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Women's Classic, held October 25 - 28, 2013 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 9-4 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2013 Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Women's Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-5 over Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals.
Jones finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Stacey Fordyce (Brandon, MB) 7-1, then won 6-4 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) and 5-3 against Trish Paulsen (Saskatoon, SK). Jones won 8-0 against Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Women's Classic Championship title, Jones earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $15,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 1st place overall with 265.800 total points. Jones ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 63.000 points earned so far this season.
