Jacobson went on to lose 8-7 against Scott Bitz (Regina, SK). Jacobson responded with a 6-5 win over Brock Virtue (Regina, SK). Jacobson won 9-7 against Chang-Min Kim (Gyeongbuk Uiseong, KOR). Jacobson went on to lose 8-5 against Wade White (Edmonton, AB). Jacobson responded with a 6-5 win over Leon Moch (Medicine Hat, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Jacobson earned 5.875 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the MNP Charity Classic, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 45th place overall with 29.037 total points. Jacobson ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.825 points earned so far this season.
