Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2012 Manitoba Lotteries Womens Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB).

Lawes finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes defeated Karen Fallis (Winnipeg, MB) 8-0, then won 10-3 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK) and 8-3 against Bernard. Lawes won 8-5 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
