Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) won 8-3 over Lisa Eyamie (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Twin Anchors Invitational, held September 29 - October 2, 2011 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kleibrink won 6-2 over Liudmilla Privivkova (Moscow, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2011 Twin Anchors Invitational in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-5 over Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Twin Anchors Invitational in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
Kleibrink finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleibrink lost 7-3 to Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Jen Rusnell (Prince George, BC). Kleibrink won 7-4 against Satsuki Fujisawa (nagano, JPN), then won 7-4 against Diane Foster (Calgary, AB) and 8-7 against Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Twin Anchors Invitational Championship title, Kleibrink earned 12.500 world rankings points along with the $7,900CDN first prize cheque. For week 7 of the event schedule, Kleibrink did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 56th to 58th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 18.569 total points. Kleibrink ranks 295th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.000 points earned so far this season.
