Lisa Eyamie (Calgary, AB) lost 8-3 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Twin Anchors Invitational, held September 29 - October 2, 2011 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Eyamie won 7-4 over Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2011 Twin Anchors Invitational in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 9-7 over Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) in the quarterfinals.
Eyamie finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eyamie defeated Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) 6-2, then won 7-5 against Morgan Muise (Calgary, AB) and 8-5 against Alyssa Kyllo (Vernon, BC). Eyamie went on to lose 5-4 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC). Eyamie lost 6-5 to Marla Mallett (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Twin Anchors Invitational, Eyamie take home 8.750 world rankings points along with the $5,800CDN prize, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 38th place overall with 28.269 total points. Eyamie ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.750 points earned so far this season.
