Allison Nimik (Elmvale, ON) lost 9-2 to Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in the Final of the OCT Championships, held September 7 - 11, 2011 in Oakville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Nimik won 6-4 over Laura Crocker (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario; and won 6-5 over Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Nimik finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nimik defeated Jamie Sinclair (Manotick, ON) 9-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Marika Bakewell (London, ON). Nimik responded with a 8-3 win over Ashley Waye (Toronto, ON). Nimik won 8-3 against Ontario's Julie Hastings, then won 9-2 against Leslie Bishop (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the OCT Championships, Nimik take home 7.600 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 27th place overall with 34.698 total points. Nimik ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.600 points earned so far this season.
