David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB) finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kraichy defeated
Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) 6-5, then went on to lose 6-2 against Terry McNamee (Brandon, MB). Kraichy lost 4-3 to Kevin Park (Winnipeg, MB) where Kraichy responded with a 6-5 win over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB). Kraichy went on to lose 6-3 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 7 of the event schedule, Kraichy did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 178th to 182nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 5.487 total points. Kraichy ranks 146th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.840 points earned so far this season.
