To advance to the championship game, Bernard won 7-4 over Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2009 Twin Anchors Invitational in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 4-2 over Angelina Jensen (Hvidore, DEN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2009 Twin Anchors Invitational in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Bernard finished 5-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bernard defeated Jolene Campbell (Regina, SK) 6-5, then won 6-2 against British Columbia's Kirsten Fox and 8-4 against Jennifer Gerow (Vernon, BC). Bernard won 6-2 against British Columbia's Brenda Garvey, then won 6-4 against Meguro in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Twin Anchors Invitational, Bernard take home 16.900 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Bernard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bernard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
