Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) finished 4-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Anderson defeated
Japan's Yukako Tsuchiya 6-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Marla Mallett (Vancouver, BC). Anderson responded with a 6-5 win over Allison Earl (Calgary, AB). Anderson won 7-6 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB), then won 6-4 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB). Anderson went on to lose 6-5 against Mallett. Anderson lost 7-6 to Bernard in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Anderson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Anderson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.

Ogden, United States - Niklas Edin's Sweden won the LGT World Men's Curling Championship 2026 gold medals and title on Saturday afternoon (4 April) by 9-6 against Matt Dunstone's Canada at the Weber County Ice Sheet in Ogden, United States.
