Brad Haight (Winnipeg, MB) finished 3-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Haight lost
6-5 to Randy Dutiaume (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Craig Brown (Madison, WI) where Haight responded with a 9-3 win over John Shuster (Duluth, MN). Haight won 7-5 against James Kirkness (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-5 against Don Spriggs (Portage la Prairie, CAN). Haight went on to lose 5-2 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Haight did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Haight ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
