Howardcretirement

It is too bad Howard has not retired. He has little chance of any more success.

He's having fun playing a game, in addition with his son. Sounds like success to me.

agree. Lots of younger teams are still having less success than Team Howard. Agism is a bad thing. Let the man play, and yeah, with his son. If he doesn't earn the births to the events, he doesn't get to play in them. If he wants to give it a shot, and knock of the highRollers every so often, wtg. Pop the epping jacobs bubbles whenever you can. Keeps 'em sharp. We need good teams to challenge the very top players if we want world dominance. Every tier of players is important in this country, and Howard is still in the top tier.

He probably will not win another brier but some peoples idea of success might be winning the Ontario tankard.

I think Glen Howard will decide when he wants to hang up the boots. And I imagine none of the 'expert comments' here on cz will have anything to do with that decision.

i dont want him to retire if he's not ready. i do think he has to realize though that he's not good enough anymore to do what he wants to do. i bet he'll retire next year and it will be sad, he will be missed. much as martin and stoughton are

While competitive and wants to win, he has won everything and more. Perhaps his priority is playing with his son who continues to develop and may be a more seasoned player when Glen retires. Plus, did Scott have a team to play with?
