Thanks HR. Ignoring not to read is the second option but the comments go on at pretty good length so I'll just ignore them all.

I wouldn't read too much in to Amy Nixon booking off this event...work commitments and family obligations, afterall it has been a very long season for that team

Amy Nixon missing Players...
Yes Life does exist off the curling ice..
Just still feel bad that Jocelyn gave up her Cdn Mixed Doubles berth to the Worlds..
granted Gallant was likely not able to book off the Gushue Team.. huge stakes in this Players event

I'm a fan as well, but I'm not worried.
Curling is like any other sport, you can't win em' all. Even the best players/teams have off games/days/events. Sometimes at these events teams just have a bad outing. Other times they just get into a bit of a slump that lasts for awhile. Again, it happens.
With Team Carey, my guess is it's probably just exhaustion/burnout. It's been a very long, grueling season. I think by the end of Worlds they were mentally and physically drained.
Considering how their year started though, and the fact that this is their first year together, I think they'll be alright. The off season is coming up soon, and then next year they don't have provincials to worry about.

Team Carey
As Team Canada I sorta became a fan.. mostly because of Peterman...
I AM worried about them because they really seem to have a big problem communicating weight control...
Numbers flying all over and way too many weight problems..
They do deserve a bit of a"pass" on this Players flop.. with a sub at third.. worlds exhaustion.. etc..
Next year..without any excuses may show where they are or are not headed...

I'm with you on this.
I do not understand their fixation on weight numbers though

..are you sure you don't have it? I didn't think I did, but as it turns out SN360 is part of the most basic package here and I have it after all, just not in HD.

I like the too, but they were on the big stage for the first time, they played for a medal. I am sure once they got their and had all the other events to go to they were emotionally and physically tired. I am sure people told them about all the extra's that would be going on, but you have to experience it.

Here comes a fairly simple W for the Homan Machine unless Einsaron stops looking like a deer looking at headlights.
