Summer is coming to a close. We are scheduling ice install for the end of the month. Also today was the Flip Flop Friendly between some of the local arena clubs. Brooklyn, Jersey Pinelands and Ocean State. Great idea for these clubs.
Our ice will be ready for use by the second week of Sept. Too early for me but I am stepping away from ice tech work this season.

WTF, Phightins' have the best record since the break
Don't forget the hosts of the Flip Flop Friendly, Long Island CC! We had a great time, and enjoyed having the nearby arena clubs for the afternoon. Hoping to someday turn this into a real bonspiel. Why not come to Long Island, enjoy the beach AND some curling?

Probably my last Summer post. Tiger is done, toast, over, gone. Won't win another major. Time to move on TV. There are 50 guys who are better than him every week. Celebrate the new guys. No one cares that Tiger missed the cut by 2. I was obvious before he finished the first round. MOVE ON!
Great final round tomorrow. Spieth, Day, Finau, etc. Lots of young guys that are really good.

Did anyone bet Keen Ice? I actually did not even think about the Travers. But if you look back in this thread, I predicted that AmPho would not win the Travers. Yes indeed, the "graveyard of champions". Still don't think that AmPho wins the Breeders Cup.

Jeff,
Was great to have you down for the Big Buckin' Spiel, I think we all had a pretty good time of it and we had some good matchups out there. See ya next year.
