yeah, she struggled. Becky is alot better than what she showed tonight though and you could tell that she was feeling bad about her performance anyway.

click on each game to see percentages.
At the bottom of the page it has leader board and past game stats (which is not working for me)

First game impressions. Still is a Colleen Jones team only with MA throwing skip rocks. Jones giving MA lots of advice and stroking.
Bluenoses not sharp.
Ps- would be interesting to know what piece of jewellery they got at the banquet last night.

Nova Scotia needed Kevin Martin, John Morris or Wild Man Jason Gunnlaugson to throw a 95 mph rocket on their last shot. Even then, good luck.

That Quebec/N.S. game had to be one of the worst I've on TV from a strategy and execution standpoint in a long time. In a bizarre way it was so bad it was kinda entertaining.
It looks like any team with Colleen on it still plays for the other team to lose instead of trying to win.
I did think the Quebec skip held it together considering what was coming at her from her team.
Did either lead ever place a rock close to where they wanted it before the 10th end?
Oh well it was just one game.

Jennifer Jones games on the other hand are chock full of excitement, drama and intrigue. Usually well-curler for the most part.
TSN has no excuses (other than no impact on standings) for not televising the following JJ games
JJ vs. Scott (scheduled)
JJ vs. Nedohin
JJ vs. Homan
JJ vs. Coco/N.S.
Wouldn't mind Jones vs. Galusha but can live without that one.
Other than curling fanatics (like the folks here who either love her or hate her) I don't think there is a huge clamour to watch the Jones Gang. People are more inclined to want to see the local favorite.
PS to TSN- please, no more Nova Scotia. The Weather Channel would have been more exciting.

too late, greenroad! TSN's planning to show BC-NS tonight.
In all seriousness, it was such a shame to be stuck on that NS-QC game last night when all the updates from the BC-AB game looked so much more exciting. Tons of rocks in play, lots of interesting situations. Meanwhile we were stuck watching blank end after blank end, with draws slipping deep, hits rolling out, draw shots wrecking on guards... not the best way to showcase our sport in the height of its yearly popularity, the Season of Champions!

lets not put all the defensive blame on last night's game on Nova Scotia. The Quebec skip had chances to get more rocks in play and she also deliberately ignored them, infact it was quite clear she was going to try and run the game through to the 10th end.

NS lacks the finishing skills to be a contender.

I hope all you guys from Cornwall will be driving there to watch them. It's hard to think of a place less interested in curling. If the Canadiens are in contention that's all people will be thinking about.

Jones vs Homan?
Can u believe the organizers scheduled this game for Friday morning @9AM? This is one of the premiere games of the tournament & u put it on at 9AM.
This is a prime time game if there ever was one.

That game most likely wont mean much, both will have qualified for the playoffs bye then. The 1vs2 and the final are both in the evening, so ...

I like the better format. Three days without mornings (a relief for those with a ticket for all draws) and RR into Friday - a dead day if no tie-breakers. It makes for a busy weekend though.
One downside is a 9am semi on Sunday, 6am on the Pacific. If they had got smart and dumped the "bronze medal" game they could have had it at noon.

If they got smart they would have 5 sheets and no morning draws and 8 ends games.

It wouldn't surprise me if they change games in a hurry. It looks like game over already unless the great White North learns to leave a definite out if you find yourself in big trouble.

As the game goes on the yukon is going to be more and more panicked about getting on the board. They are going to continue to take risks to try and get back in it
Given that manitoba/ newfoundland is a blowout as predicted as well then I would think they'll switch to Canada/PEI
