eve has free draw for 4

end looked innocent enough. then anna sloan made a draw around a russian rock top 12. the russians could not glue one and anna and eve just kept putting rocks behind the guard. anna crashed on her last and suddenly eve has draw for 4

wow..what a miss from jen to give norway the steal

i think what is concerning for canada is that while kaitlyn seems to be finding her groove jill and jen are still very inconsistent . at this point you would figure that they would have gotten into form

A miss to give up one, but if she was heavy and wide line instead of light it could have been a mitt-full-o-steal. She got off easy...

I know Tsn will only show Canada, that makes sense but I'd rather watch the Scotland v Russia game. Is it on anywhere?

Game over for Norway. Scotland get a big 4 ender to really put the pressure on Russia. Sweden have unofficially defeated the Fins. Japan have a 2 point lead on Denmark.

Small country, hard to have consistently good curlers most likely.

but, again the same problem is not plaguing the men. when ulsrud retires they have some good options to fill the void.

Al Cameron

Isn't Al Cameron doing an amazing job in Vic's absence. Seems right at home. Good for him. Perhaps he's missed his real calling..... I'm enjoying his coverage.

After playing a good game and almost knocking off Canada, Denmark play poorly and are eliminated early with 6 losses by a weaker Japanese team, joining the US, Norway and Finland on the sidelines, what a surprise, from one game to the next you just never know what this team will do.

If I'm not mistaken, Pal's daughter is the alternate for the team.

Previewing draw 13: If the Swiss don't beat Norway, they might as well go home, a bit of a joke there, but they should really win. The big Asian battle is here with China-Japan, tough call, but I'm going with China since they dominate the HTH. Germany-Russia is not a gimmie for the Bear as they have been wounded, but Germany played quite subpar in their last match, so I'll still take Russia. Sweden should cakewalk the US.

What a draw that was, the games I expected to be easy were not, the ones that were supposed to be tight weren't, Russia won handily and now sit 6-3, but it was more due to the German skip's costly mistakes than Anna's play, as she wasn't at the top of her game, Germany are at 4-4. China won a bit easy over Japan as I thought would happen, Japan's skip was quite poor, China are 5-3, Japan are 5-4. No win Norway showed up with the skip having a good game to take leaders Swiss into an extra end, only to lose, Norway are 0-9, Switzerland are 7-1. The US shocked Sweden by scoring 3 in the 10th to win, Prytz was a bit off and it looks like that's what cost them, the US are 2-6, Sweden are 5-4.

Previewing draw 14: I have to take Scotland over Germany. Finland-US should be close, but I think the US will take it after their big Sweden win. Denmark-China could be close, but China will take it. Now for the game we've been waiting for, the co-leaders Canada-Switzerland, obv this is for 1st place, very close indeed, but I've got to go with Canada.
