I've set up my PVR and am going to watching this mornings game between Tirinzone and Homan. Noticed also that curlingzone has not put any results or game schedule up yet. Hmmmmm.

While they are both outstanding curlers when playing their regular positions of 3rd and 1st stone respectively, neither Miskew or Hebert considers this format to be their strength , particularly Miskew, who has never relished the thought of throwing the last brick, and still doesn't.
Needless to say, Canada could have juggled things and entered instead 3 other powerhouse combos like say, Homan/Nichols, Courtney/Gallant and Weagle/Gushue which would have practically guaranteed 3 wins. Obviously, winning was not that important to North America at this time.

Hmm it looks like the Emma/ Benny pairing worked pretty darn good and Team NA won all three mixed doubles matches today.......

I'm aware that N.A. swept all three mixed double matches today.
That was not the point of my post.

Benny threw last stones and all players will play doubles once ( albeit some only 4 ends)

Hey Decade, enjoyed watching the Mixed Doubles on Friday and was well aware that Benny had agreed to throw last primarily because Emma was not entirely comfortable in that situation.
What I was not aware of, however, was that all of the N.A. and World's participants were actually mandated to play once in the Doubles.
Looking forward now to the Skins on Sunday.
