Unfortunately, you won't be visiting at the best time if you're looking to buy curling stuff, as, especially in the cities you mention, most curling equipment is sold through clubs - and most clubs close for curling at around this time of year (end of April).
And even the odd store which sells curling equipment does so seasonally, and so their curling stock is very likely put away by now.
You'd have better luck finding curling equipment after April in western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta), as curling is more of a staple there.
Good luck, in any case... hopefully someone will let you know of a rare location in one of the cities you mention where you can get curling stuff in the non-curling months.
