Curling in NY
There's nothing like NY in the Springtime. Enjoy some great curling, a ton of fun, and possibly have some time to go see the sights in the city. Please join us at the Big Apple Bonspiel at the Ardsley Curling Club on March 23-26, 2017.
We have spots for 5 more teams. First come, first served. See the attached flyer for details. Good curling!

Wow, $320 a team and you have to buy your beer separately!?
Them's some big city prices!
We prefer $240 and an open bar here in Wisconsin.![](https://www.curlingzone.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

That's actually cheap for the northeast. Most clubs are charging $400.

It seems I owe Mr. Scheiner an apology for pointing out that bonspieling is cheaper in Wisconsin than New York. I didn't realize that my little joke was talking **** about his new bonspiel. For reference check out Pardeeville, Arlington and Lodi CC bonspiels, from $220-$260 all beer and food included.
My sincerest apologies.

Biter catching some flak for bringing his fly-over budgets to big apple economics? Good. Why should I be the only one catching flak on this site?
So Biterbar threw a good natured jab. I'll toss one back: $220 for open bar in Wisconsin? In my day, you'd have lost about $100/per team. Today's cheeseheads don't drink near as well as vintage cheeseheads. Bring that weak "open bar" crap to North Dakota or the Iron Range, my friend, and we will teach you economics.
Just having fun,
Ben Tucker

Shucks Tuck, in our day a six pack was $1.20, a bottle of Jack Daniels $6.50 and an all you could drink bonspiel was $100.
I try hard to keep posts light hearted and these types of posts bumped up so people can actually see them, but as you well know it is much easier to offend this generation.
