BC Scotties
Quite the rollercoaster linescores for Kelly Scott the last few matches. Giving ends of 3 and 4 points away, but still coming out on top with large steals and big ends of her own for wins.
Wonder if Van Osch is going to make the playoffs from C. Silvertson won't make it easy, judging by her match with Scott.

Many years ago, an old timer at the Vancouver CC told me that he liked to watch the ladies curl because "you always get to see big ends." I guess games like that are what he was referring to?

Patty K has been a competitive curler for quite a while. It's difficult to come out of the north but this could be her team's year. I think she was at the national Scotties last year as the fifth for the BC rep. QR

.... a bad lot from bc... ??!?
are you sure. Last year team Van Osch only missed the playoffs by a single game at nationals. Two years ago Kelly Scott captured bronze, and three years ago Kelly was in the final.. That sounds pretty good to me.

When you consider that Patti Knezevic hasn't had any ice to play or practice on in Prince George until January, her team reaching the BC Scotties and then winning the A event is quite an accomplishment. Have they been playing and practicing out of town this season? Perhaps in Quesnel?

I agree, looking back at their evens earlier in the year; they were struggling to win a game. Now winning the A event, I hope this is Team Knezevic's year! They have worked so hard for so long, and Patti showed her self when skipping a few games at the Scotties. Go Team Knezevic!

Kelly Scott is still, without doubt the best curler in BC - even with her pitti-patti game. She's unable to throw much more than back-line or light hack weight which certainly restricts her arsenal.
She no longer has The Shredder, Gina Schraeder at 3rd (one of the best 3rds ever) nor Sash Carter, a top 2nd.
The Van Osch's are certainly up 'n comers . . . they had a nice Scotties debut last year but have found the going tough in the BC playdowns. That said, I suspect BC comes down to Scott vs. Van Osch... btw, what happened to Marla Mallett?
edit: Sorry, I erred. Scott and Van Osch having their loser leaves town match this a.m. - IN C EVENT. Only one of them will advance to the page playoffs in the 3-4 game. Patty K has already clinched the 1-seed in the 1 vs. 1 game.
For the last year you have been touting Van Osch as the new queens of BC curling. Many pointed out to you that was a one off year. Even Glenn Howard doesn't make the Brier every single year. To no avail you ignored facts and logic and continued on how they were going to dominate. they got lucky last year, and no one would have known who they were if Scott made her last one in 10 last year.
Van Osch doesn't even have the same team from last year. The rest of the team is with Sivertson.

I certainly never touted the Van Osches as immediate successors to Kelly.
What do you mean???? Every time a new team wins something they are the second coming of ******, according to you.

Does Knev's leads shirt meet dress code? Camera men must be having a ball today.
