All I can say is that the height difference between Flemming and Fitzner-Leblanc is quite funny. Flemming is made to look like a giant when they are standing at the back of the house together

As the Scotties got underway two weeks back, there were questions why M.A. Arsenault was skipping the Nova Scotia women's team, (and poorly at that) when they had C.J. the natural leader.
They stuck with her and ended the week with a losing record.

Now the N.S. men's team opens with what can only be described as a disaster, the question is: Why isn't the more experienced Flemming throwing last rocks? Like the proverbial goalie that lets in eight goals, it's time for the coach to have some mercy and pull Ian F-L. It would be a wise move to have Flemming skip the next game.

At least to give Fitzner-Leblanc a chance to shake off the loss and rebuild his shattered confidence at 3rd stones.

so what? this is the Brier and you can throw out the states, if brad gets into his 'Zone' look out for a great finish, why not after all he is curling with a player Bret Gallant from PEI, and his Dad is coach of team I believe, Peter Gallant has appeared in many previous briers either with Roddy MacDonald or others....I am not saying N.L. "might " be the dark horse team it is too early in the tournament to make a prediction as that...stay tuned thru week of play if a winning trend continues ?

Paul lost hi confidence during the 2001 Tankard mid way through

Dacet took over and ran off 8 straight to go the Brier in Ottawa

After Dacey won the Brier Flemming teamed up with Shawn Adams and made it all the way the to the Brier final in 2003

He hasn't skipped since that 2001 Tankard playdow in Men's and has lost his skipping confidence

Too bad as he was the All Star Skip in 1999 inEdmonton

All that being said Fitz Leblanc looks horrible so it can't hurt to switch it up

0-5 it will happen
But then again who really wants on the Titanic
