Nice to see some young blood shaking things up with the men in Scotland. I'm a big fan of Team Murdoch, but they continue to struggle and just can't seem to get out of this slump they're in. I like Brewster as well, but he seems to run hot and cold. Hell, neither he nor Murdoch were able to get past Edwards last fall or MacDonald last winter. As for MacDonald, I'm also a fan, but they had a pretty disappointing event.
As for the women, no surprise Team Muirhead was dominant, but congratulations to them as well! I guess Sarah Reid is still recovering from her injury (no idea what it is or how serious it is, other than that it is "lower body")so Rachel Hannen filled in at lead.
(Now waiting for the inevitable crack about David Murdoch "stealing" a team, or the RCCC "giving" Smith's team to Murdoch.)
not surprised muirhead got through. would be offily nice if flemming or gray stepped up and became legitimate threats to her.
i called smith making the break through this year and im happy to see he did. not to surprised since murdoch has been sliding downward since his silver in socchi and brewster has been struggling this year.

Murdoch was added to Team Brewster in 2012.. and lasted 2 years before disbanding..
Who in Scotland is messing with National Teams?
.. not the players..
Is it?

Yeah, Team Murdoch is in a slump because he realized he can't actually just kick the skip out of a team and take over it.

Sure thing.
Yeah, sometimes some people forget that other countries play too.
I like to keep up on things worldwide.
