I see you're from Oakland. Does wanting a white gripper relate in any way to the white skates the California Golden Seals wore back around 1970?
I would recommend against a white gripper for this reason: As the gripper begins to disintegrate - and all grippers do disintegrate -, the small rubber particles will be left on the ice - but will be very difficult to see against the white ice. Black and coloured grippers also disintegrate and leave rubber particles on the ice - which no-one wants - but these particles can be seen against the white ice and so can be removed before a rock is affected.
