Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2018 KKP Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB).

Calvert finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Tyler Drews (Winnipeg, MB) 8-2, then won 9-5 against Riley Smith (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-2 against Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB). Calvert went on to lose 6-4 against Bohn in their final qualifying round match.
