Fay finished 9-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fay defeated Katie Fullerton (Cornwall, PEI) 8-6, then won 9-6 against Brooke Godsland (St. John's, NL) and 9-4 against Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON). Fay won 7-6 against Kourtney Fesser (Saskatoon, SK), then won 12-2 against Alyssa Meger (Whitehorse, YK). Fay went on to lose 7-4 against Daniels. Fay responded with a 8-3 win over Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC). Fay won 9-3 against Selena Sturmay (Airdrie, AB), then won 11-4 against Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB) and 8-6 against Abby Ackland (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Canadian Junior Women's Championship presented by Egg Farmers of Ontario Championship title, Fay earned 17.100 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Fay did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fay ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
