Vaughan lost 6-2 to Shaun Mott (Gladstone, NB) where Vaughan responded with a 9-5 win over Pierre Fraser (Moncton, NB). Vaughan won 8-5 against Dan Philip (Saint John, NB). Vaughan went on to lose 7-6 against Eldridge in their final qualifying round match.
