Edin finished 13-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Mats Nyberg (Stocksund, SWE) 8-3, then won 7-6 against Mathias Mabergs (Malung, SWE) and 7-4 against Rasmus Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Edin won 7-3 against Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE), then won 9-2 against Mats Jakobsson (Borlange, SWE) and 11-1 against K-G Pettersson (Linkoping, SWE). Edin won 6-5 against Goran Carlsson (Norrkoping, SWE), then won 12-5 against Markus Eriksson (Karlstad, SWE) and 10-5 against Gustav Eskilsson (Skelleftea, SWE). Edin went on to lose 8-7 against Eriksson. Edin responded with a 8-0 win over Nils Carlsen (Sundsvall, SWE). Edin won 6-3 against Jon Melin (Skelleftea, SWE), then won 7-3 against Pelle Sjostrom (Skelleftea, SWE). Edin went on to lose 6-2 against Marcus Hasselborg (Harnosand, SWE). Edin responded with a 11-0 win over Christer Odling (Ornskoldsvik, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Swedish Eliteserien Championship title, Edin earned 4.880 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Edin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Edin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
