John Epping (Toronto, ON) won 8-3 over Chad Allen (Brantford, ON) in the Final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, held September 15 - 18, 2011 in Brockville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Epping won 6-4 over Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Brockville, Ontario; and won 5-4 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Brockville, Ontario;
 
Epping finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Dwayne Fowler (Prescott, ON) 8-4, then won 6-2 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Toronto, ON) and 5-3 against Jeff McCrady (Ottawa, ON). Epping went on to lose 7-6 against Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON). Epping responded with a 10-4 win over Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau/Levis, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Epping earned 28.020 world rankings points along with the $10,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 8th place overall with 114.153 total points. Epping ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.670 points earned so far this season.
