Randy Ferbey (Edmonton, AB) finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferbey defeated British Columbia's Jason Montgomery 8-5, then won 7-2 against Bryan Miki (New Westminster, BC) and 7-5 against Bob Ursel (Kelowna, BC). Ferbey went on to lose 8-6 against Jamie King (Edmonton, AB). Ferbey responded with a 5-3 win over Steve Petryk (Calgary, AB). Ferbey won 7-0 against Ursel in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Westcoast Curling Classic, Ferbey take home 23.750 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Ferbey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ferbey ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
