In Own Words:
I began curling in seventh grade, because of my painfully apparent lack of skill in every other athletic activity. I started playing just to have fun and to pass the time, but over the years the sport has transformed into one of my greatest passions. [cr][lf][cr][lf]The significance of curling, for me, is its ability to challenge me mentally, physically, and socially. I find these challenges provide a constant, beneficial drive to improve. Curling is also a forum for a level of competition that is hard to find in other activities, and an extremely enjoyable sport.
