In Own Words:
I saw curling during the Vancouver Olympics and thought that the sport was a joke. I bet my dad that I could be good at curling. My dad told me to find a place to try it. So, I found the Mayfield Curling and two weeks later I tried curling for the first time. I thought the game was really fun, but have no idea how hard the sport actually was. I continued to play and two years later, I started to play competitively. [cr][lf][cr][lf]The sport has taught me so much about myself. It has taught me that if you want to be good at something you have to work really hard. This means that sometimes you have to make sacrifices in order to do well. Playing at a competitive level has taught me good time management skills in order to balance school, practice, travel, family and friends. [cr][lf]
Junior Highlights:
GLCA Regional Champion (2014 and 2015)[cr][lf]Madison Junior Bonspiel 1st Event Champion (2014)[cr][lf]Optimist U18 International Curling Championship (2014)[cr][lf]
